Harmony Day
Next week is Harmony Week which celebrates Australia’s cultural diversity.
It’s about inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone.
On Friday, 25th March, we will be celebrating Harmony Day and students are invited to wear something orange to support the day. If students do not have something orange they can wear school colours or school uniform. No gold coin donation is needed.
During Harmony Week - 21st to 25th March the canteen will be selling orange themed treats for $2 each at recess and lunch.
On the Friday a special Harmony Week cupcake can also be pre-ordered via Qkr! for $2 each. Cupcakes will be delivered to class for recess on Friday, 25th March.
Cupcake orders close 4:00pm Wednesday, 23rd March.
A limited number of cupcakes will also be available to purchase at recess on Friday, 25th March.

Assistant Principal
Canteen Volunteers Urgently Needed
Volunteers are an important part of our school canteen delivering freshly made on-site snacks and lunches. The children absolutely love to see someone they know in the canteen and volunteering is a great way to be involved in the school community.
If you are able to spare 3 hours (or more) per term, and have completed the necessary volunteer requirements, please contact wpps.canteen286@schools.sa.edu.au to advise your availability. Parents, grandparents and caregivers are all welcome to express an interest in volunteering. I have attached the required documents needed to be able to help.
Thank-you
Election Day BBQ
If you are heading to school to vote on Saturday, make sure you stop by and support the Pedal Prix Racing Team BBQ fundraiser in Yard A outside the polling booth - yummy food on offer from breakfast through to lunch and beyond.
Anyone wishing to donate baked items can do so by dropping them to the stall on Election Day or to the canteen before or after school this coming Friday.
Thank you for your support of our Pedal Prix Racing Team.
