Mark Anders - Chairperson
Mark joined the Governing Council in 2021 and has 3 children attending the school. Having a finance and accounting background Mark has previously taken on the role of Treasurer and was chair of the finance committee.
Mark enjoys working with the Governing Council members and other people in the school community to assist provide a memorable primary school experience for the children.

Theo Sasopoulos - Treasurer
Theo has two children attending WPPS, Ari in Year 3 and Zen in Reception and has been on Governing council since 2021. In that time he has served on a variety of sub committees and enjoys having an active involvement within the school across Education and Finance.
Theo has a background in Accounting and Finance and has a senior finance role working in one of the country’s largest Agribusinesses. In 2023, Theo is taking on the role of Treasurer and looks forward to working closely with School Leadership in this role.

Natalie Handley - Secretary
Nat has two children at WPPS - Max in Year 4 and Harry in Year 2. Nat has worked in the local and national non-government sector in a variety of research and evaluation roles, providing evidence-informed advice in areas including youth homelessness, child protection and family support. This is Nat's second year on the Governing Council and she looks forward to contributing to the school.

James Telford
James has two children at WPPS, Jackson (Yr 6) and April (Yr 3). This is his second year on the Governing Council and he also sits on the Education Sub-Committee. James’ family values our wonderful school community and is delighted to be part of the link to the WPPS leadership and education team.

Philippa Marsh
Philippa has 3 children at the school, Isla in J3 and, Eden and Oscar in M11. Philippa is a teacher with many years of classroom experience and is now a Lecturer at UniSA. Philippa has been on the GC for the past four years and this year has taken on the role of working with a wonderful group of parents to coordinate the Fundraising Committee.

Marnie Hope
Marnie has two children at WPPS, Ryan in year 3 and Eva in year 1. This is her first year on the Governing Council and is on the Education and Grounds and Facilities Committee too.
Marnie works in the climate change and sustainability area and loves to go camping and all things STEM related. She loves the sense of community at WPPS and looks forward to positively contributing to the Council and Committees. Marnie has been on the Mitcham Pre School Governing Council before and volunteered for Guide Dogs.

Briony Hughes
Briony is a local Designer and Sole Trader, and has one child at Westbourne Park. She has a Grad Dip in Teaching (Primary, NZ), has worked on departmental education projects, has volunteered as an SSO and in the school canteen.

Nicole O'Malley
Nicole has two children attending the school, in years 1 (M10) and 3 (J1), and works as a statistician in the education sector. This is her first year on the Governing Council and also sits on the Education and Grounds and Facilities Committees. Nicole looks forward to working closely with the school leadership and parents in this role.

Amanda McConnell
Amanda (more commonly known as Mandy) is married to Ross, and they have two boys attending WPPS - Hugh in Year 4 and Henry in Year 2. Mandy is Registered Nurse with Emergency specialty training and is currently working at the Women's and Children's Paediatric Emergency Department. Mandy is an identical twin and her sister Kirsty also has a daughter at WPPS. Mandy is very approachable and loves meeting new people so please stop her for a chat next time you see her.
It is Mandy's first year on Governing Council, and she looks forward to giving back and working with staff and Governing Council members to ensure that WPPS continues to grow and thrive.

Johnny Siegel
I’ve been a member of the WPPS school community for going on six years, with a son in yr 5 and another in yr 1. Our family loves being a part of this school, and we try to be as involved as time allows. It’s my third year in the GC and I’ve also coached a few seasons of soccer.

Rebekah Hudson
Rebekah has 2 daughters Ava is in year 1 at WPPS and Georgia is at kindy this year. This is her first year on the Governing Council and is on the Fundraising Committee also.
Rebekah is a people and culture leader in the public sector, was a governing council member and fundraising chair at kindy. Rebekah is looking forward to contributing to our school community.

Noralyn Manucat-Tan
Noralyn has one child at WPPS, Hannah, who is in reception. This is her first year on the Governing Council, and she is also a new member of the Fundraising Committee. Noralyn works as a postdoctoral researcher at Flinders University. She loves to help the school in whatever way she can and meet other wonderful parents at WPPS.
